This study aimed to investigate the possible causes for inconsistent performances of upland New Rice for Africa (NERICA) varieties in uplands and lowlands, while identifying important determinants in grain yield under deficient soil moisture. We compared the growth and yield of NERICA 1 and NERICA 5 to those of Yumenohatamochi, a Japanese upland variety, and Hinohikari, a Japanese lowland variety, subjected to different water management regimes (continually flooded, supplementary irrigation, and non-irrigation). Under conditions of deficient soil moisture, panicle number per square meter, spikelet number per panicle, and 1000-grain weight of NERICAs decreased, whereas the panicle number of the Japanese varieties experienced little change. In contrast, the grain filling ratio was unaffected by water management, irrespective of variety. The primary source of yield reduction under low soil water conditions was a decrease in spikelet number per panicle, and water stress intensity was the primary factor for the degree of this reduction. Variation in the abortion of secondary rachis-branches caused differences between NERICAs in their spikelet number response to soil moisture deficiency. The inconsistency in NERICA performance across uplands vs. lowlands can be partially attributed to variation in yield response to low soil water conditions. Moreover, water stress intensity and the presence of a water gradient along the vertical soil profile may combine to affect the fluctuation in NERICA performance under upland conditions. 相似文献

This study aimed to explore the feasibility of zein as a gluten alternative in preparing sheeted doughs with rice flours containing different amylose contents (12, 19, and 26%) that were successfully slit into noodle strands. Rice-zein mixtures with lower amylose contents exhibited lower pasting parameters and the high amylose paste samples possessed more elastic properties. Higher water absorption was observed in the low amylose rice-zein mixture whereas the use of zein were effective in increasing the stability of rice dough regardless of amylose content. In case of thermal conductivity, the noodle doughs prepared with high amylose rice-zein mixture had low thermal conductivity, probably implying a long cooking time. The structure of the rice-zein noodles had a tendency to become firmer with increasing levels of amylose by showing greater breaking stress and resistance to extension that could be correlated to reduced cooking loss. 相似文献

为了明确溶磷菌在多种土壤中的应用效果,探讨了两株溶磷菌对黑土及盐碱土种植大豆的促生效应。采用盆栽试验分析了不同处理对大豆光合作用、渗透调节物质含量、生物量、氮磷吸收及产量的影响。结果表明:加菌处理可增加植株Pn,显著降低R6、R8两时期叶片可溶性蛋白、可溶性糖及游离氨基酸含量,增加R2~R8时期大豆株高和根干重,混合土壤中加菌处理也可提高植株地上部分氮、磷及植株全磷、全氮含量。添加wj1和混合菌处理的植株干重优于添加wj3的处理。黑土加混合菌可显著提高大豆R2期叶片WUE,增加V3、R2和R8这3个时期大豆地上、地下部分氮、磷及植株全氮、全磷的含量。黑土加wj1与混合土壤加菌处理的大豆株荚数、总粒数、单株粒重及百粒重均高于未加菌处理。添加外源溶磷菌,对黑土及盐碱土栽培大豆均有不同程度的促生效果,能明显增强大豆在混合盐碱土壤中的适应性,增加植株生物量、氮磷吸收量和产量,且混合菌处理对大豆的促生效应优于wj1及wj3单一菌株处理。 相似文献

植烟土壤是确保烤烟优质高产的关键因素之一,通过对天柱县植烟土壤烟田基本情况、土壤退化情况、土壤保育与改良情况、土地整理情况等进行调查,结果表明:该烟区地块比较破碎,有便利的排水条件或健全的排水设施,无洪涝灾害的烟田面积为420.00 hm~2,占63.0%;土壤板结发生面积为136.00 hm~2,占基本烟田的20.4%;有机质含量下降发生面积为208 hm~2,占基本烟田的31.2%;水土流失发生面积为169.33 hm~2,占基本烟田的25.4%。为此,应采取土壤改良措施,以促进天柱特色优质烤烟的发展。 相似文献

Cannibalism is a taxonomically widespread phenomenon that can fundamentally affect the structure and stability of aquatic communities, including the emergence of a bimodal size distribution (“dwarfs” and “giants”) in fish populations. Emergence of giants could also be driven or facilitated by parasites that divert host resources from reproduction to growth. We studied the trophic ecology of giant nine‐spined sticklebacks (Pungitius pungitius) in a Finnish pond to evaluate the hypotheses that gigantism in this population would be facilitated by cannibalism and/or parasitic infections by Schistocephalus pungitii cestode. Stomach content analyses revealed an initial ontogenetic dietary shift from small to large benthic invertebrates, followed by cannibalism on 10–20‐mm‐long conspecifics by giant individuals. However, stable nitrogen isotopes (δ15N) indicated a concave relationship between fish size and trophic position, with relatively low trophic position estimates suggesting only facultative cannibalism among giants. The unexpectedly high trophic position of the intermediate‐sized fish may reflect substantial, but temporary, predation on eggs or young‐of‐the‐year conspecifics, but may also partly result from starvation caused by S. pungitii infection. However, it seems implausible that parasitic infections (i.e. castration) would explain gigantism among nine‐spined sticklebacks because all >100‐mm giants were unparasitised. Hence, the present results suggest that an ontogenetic niche shift from an invertebrate diet to intercohort cannibalism may facilitate the occurrence of gigantism in nine‐spined sticklebacks. 相似文献

A change in the European Union energy policy has markedly promoted the expansion of biogas production.Consequently,large amounts of nutrient-rich residues are being used as organic fertilizers.In this study,a pot experiment was conducted to simulate the high-risk situation of enhanced greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions following organic fertilizer application in energy maize cultivation.We hypothesized that cattle slurry application enhanced CO2 and N2O fluxes compared to biogas digestate because of the overall higher carbon (C) and nitrogen (N) input,and that higher levels of CO2 and N2O emissions could be expected by increasing soil organic C (SOC) and N contents.Biogas digestate and cattle slurry,at a rate of 150 kg NH4+-N ha-1,were incorporated into 3 soil types with low,medium,and high SOC contents (Cambisol,Mollic Gleysol,and Sapric Histosol,termed Clow,Cmedium,and Chigh,respectively).The GHG exchange (CO2,CH4,and N2O) was measured on 5 replicates over a period of 22 d using the closed chamber technique.The application of cattle slurry resulted in significantly higher CO2 and N2O fluxes compared to the application of biogas digestate.No differences were observed in CH4 exchange,which was close to zero for all treatments.Significantly higher CO2 emissions were observed in Chigh compared to the other two soil types,whereas the highest N2O emissions were observed in Cmedium.Thus,the results demonstrate the importance of soil type-adapted fertilization with respect to changing soil physical and environmental conditions. 相似文献

2005年采用高胡萝卜素、低干双亲的特殊组合‘浙薯81’ב浙薯255’创制出甘薯优异高干红肉品种‘浙薯13’。为了探索甘薯胡萝卜素含量、干率聚合育种新方法,2016年对这一双亲的正反交组合F1胡萝素含量、干率进行了测定和遗传分离规律分析。结果表明,正反交组合的胡萝卜素含量遗传主要受非加性效应控制,组合传递力分别为45.32%和49.73%。干率不仅存在加性效应,而且呈明显的超亲遗传,正反交组合的超亲优势分别达到15.12%和12.75%,超高亲率约70%,呈现相当于高干×低干的遗传分离,中、高干类型比例高达60%左右,其中高干类型比例约28%。杂交后代含有干率≥25%、胡萝卜素含量≥3 mg/100 g FW的株系占26.10%,含有干率≥25%、胡萝卜素含量≥10 mg/100 g FW的株系占9.78%。干率是甘薯食味的主要影响因子。因此,‘浙薯81’与‘浙薯255’杂交可以高效地聚合胡萝卜素含量和干率,大幅度提高优质食用高胡萝卜素育种的筛选效率。 相似文献

开垦年限对黑土氮初级转化速率和净转化速率的影响 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
以东北黑土区开垦2 a和开垦30 a的典型旱作土壤为研究对象,采用15N同位素成对标记技术开展室内培养试验,利用数值计算模型(FLUAZ)计算不同开垦年限土壤的氮初级转化速率,以比较不同开垦年限黑土氮初级转化速率和净转化速率的差异,明确开垦年限对黑土氮转化过程的影响。结果表明,与开垦2a土壤相比,开垦30a土壤的有机碳和水溶性有机碳含量显著降低,导致土壤氮初级矿化速率和初级固定速率也显著降低。但开垦30a土壤的初级硝化速率、净硝化速率和净氮矿化速率却显著高于开垦2a土壤。两个开垦年限土壤的初级硝化速率分别为净硝化速率的1.15倍和1.02倍,说明土壤微生物对硝态氮的固定很少。开垦30a土壤的m/i值(氮初级矿化速率与初级固定速率之比)和n/ia值(初级硝化速率与初级铵态氮固定速率之比)均显著大于1,而开垦2 a土壤的m/i值和n/ia值均接近1。表明开垦2 a土壤的氮矿化与固定过程紧密偶联,氮素损失的风险较小,而开垦30 a土壤中氮矿化量超过了固定量,这为硝化作用的进行提供了底物,增加了硝酸盐反硝化和淋溶风险。 相似文献
